PayMate partners with Sify iWays to make shopping possible anywhere, anytime

PayMate India Pvt. Ltd., engaged in mobile commerce, has entered into an alliance with Sify Ltd., a provider of consumer internet and enterprise services in India. PayMate India Pvt. Ltd. would be offering GiftMate vouchers in 3000 Sify iWays. A GiftMate voucher is a Mobile Gift voucher that allows customers of Sify iWay to shop for products ranging from electronics to apparels and even book flight and movie tickets without giving credit card details.

Founder & Managing Director of PayMate India Pvt. Ltd., Ajay Adiseshann said “Gift- Mate has seen immense success online, with lacs of customers buying and using them. The PayMate & Sify partnership enables the un-carded online users and those reluctant to use cards online, to transact online. This would definitely give a fillip to ecommerce in the country, since only 10% of online users actually transact online. Sify’s iWays are spread across 180 cities in the country, enhancing the value proposition to millions of potential e-commerce users.”
