Banks sign e-remittance pact

DOHA Bank and Co-operative & Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) of Yemen have entered into an agreement for online electronic funds transfer from Qatar to Yemen. According to the agreement, the two banks are also expected to generate revenue for each other focusing mainly on non-resident Yemenis in Qatar.

Executive Manager of International & Institutional Banking, R Ganesan said that this association would help Yemeni expatriates to conveniently send money to Yemen and also facilitate account opening with CAC Bank in Yemen. He further added that these services are expected to be provided from the International Relations Centre at Grand Hamad Avenue.
